Construct 1.9 miles of new trail with other volunteers on Be the Change Day. You'll help create a formalized loop trail system while avoiding sensitive environmental and cultural resources.

Volunteers will be the change in an organic, educational garden and orchard. Full Circle Farm represents a shift toward food systems that are local, fresh, and sustainable. You'll help with planting, weeding, mulching, composting, and more.

San Bruno Mountain Watch’s mission is to preserve and protect the area’s Native American cultural sites and endangered species. Be the Change Day volunteers will remove invasive species of weeds and can take an educational hike around the state park.

On Be the Change Day, you'll engage in conservation and maintenance activities such as weeding, mulching, possible pruning, and light repair at the Heritage Rose Garden in Guadalupe River Park and Gardens.

Remove non-native plants and clean up the shoreline to restore the Bay's wetlands with other volunteers on Be the Change Day. Save the Bay works to protect, restore, and celebrate San Francisco Bay.

Help build an urban farm at Alameda Point Collaborative (APC) on Be the Change Day. APC is a supportive housing community. The urban farm provides nutritious foods for the residents, as well as job training.

Help by packing food baskets, working in the clothing closet, and "spring cleaning" around the center. Sacred Heart Community Service is a non-denominational organization providing free food, clothing, job training, and classes to low-income families.

The Costaño Elementary School cafeteria is in need of some revitalization and inspiration. Projects may include painting a mural plus some exterior or interior painting.

Join volunteers as we transform The Sanctuary, which provides emergency shelter to homeless adults who are registered with the city of San Francisco. You'll be brightening up the facility by painting and cleaning.

The shelter at First Step needs some TLC. First Step for Families serves homeless families and children in a residential setting. Its mission is to mentor families into transitioning to permanent housing. You'll help us revitalize the shelter on Be the Change Day.

Be the change by painting and fixing up this amazing school in East San Jose. KIPP schools are free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools where underserved students develop the knowledge, skills, and character traits needed to succeed.
